Event: Newfie Rescue 2019
In memory of Roxy -
We are taking the plunge with our Newfound Friends and raising money to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome animals at Bath Cats and Dogs Home.

Story

In June 2019 I am taking part in the 2019 Newfie Rescue where I will be rescued from Portishead Harbour by a GIANT Newfoundland Dog. Please sponsor me; every pound raised will go to Bath Cats and Dogs Home. Bath Cats and Dogs Home rescue, rehabilitate and rehome unwanted, abandoned and cruelly treated pets from Bath, Somerset and Wiltshire. In 2018 they cared for over 1,100 animals in need.

I am raising money on behalf of Mine and My boyfriends beautiful dog Roxy who we rescued from Bath Cats and Dogs home in August 2017 and who sadly passed  away on the 23rd July 2018. She had a very bad up bringing and then came into our home and was loved and spoilt by everyone before she passed away after being ill for the year she was with us.

I have always wanted to do this type of event since I was little and now it’s my chance to in memory of someone special. I have not done anything like this in my life so I am doing this to prove to myself that things are possible and you can do what you put your mind to.

This is for Roxy and the amazing team and volunteers at Bath Cats and Dogs home.
