Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance is Scotland’s only charity-funded air ambulance service. We rely on public support to keep flying and responding to time-critical emergencies wherever they occur in Scotland. No one in Scotland should die because help can't get there in time.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On 5th January, Bethany had been suffering from a flu virus, which became pneumonia. She was airlifted to Raigmore with her mum by her side where she rapidly deteriorated. A team of 8 staff in ICU cared for Bethany for over two hours, but despite their best efforts, she sadly passed away.

Bethany lived in the isolated village of Applecross and she would not have even made it to the hospital if it weren't for the Scottish Charity Air Ambulance. This is a vital service in the Highlands that deserves as much support as possible to help other people and their families in the future.

In memory of our beautiful, intelligent, funny friend, Bethany, we are collecting donations to show our thanks for the support of the Scottish Charity Air Ambulance in her final hours.

We will miss you, Bethany. Sleep well, bean.

All donations should be directed to the Highlands Division.
