Year 9 Charity Walk, 16 September 2022
We help the hospital offer a better future to seriously ill children across the UK

Story

We are pleased to inform you that our annual Charity Walk Day will be held on Friday 16th September. The walk is dedicated to raising money for Great Ormond Street Hospital, as nominated by the year group, and your child has the opportunity to contact friends and relatives for sponsorship ahead of the walk itself.

Pupils in Year 9 will walk around the beautiful countryside near Rye. This walk is approximately 10 miles.

Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) is an international centre of excellence in child healthcare.

Together with our research partner, the UCL Great Ormond Street Institute of Child Health, we host the UK’s only paediatric National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Biomedical Research Centre (BRC).

Since its formation in 1852, the hospital has been dedicated to children’s healthcare and to finding new and better ways to treat childhood illnesses.
