As many of you will know, I lost my incredible mum last year. My dad and I were supposed to be going  to Canada over the anniversary of her death. However, due to obvious reasons this isn’t going ahead. Since the beginning of lock down we have both started running and have decided that on the first anniversary of her death, 15th of July, we will complete a  10k run in memory of her and to raise money for St Columbus Hospice in Edinburgh. My mum would be in total shock if she knew me and my dad were running a 10k which puts a smile on my face and keeps me motivated! If you would like to take part on the day and run a 10k too where you live then please let me know. I’ve already had a few amazing people say they will join in with us! If you’re able to donate I would be so grateful, St Columbus is a wonderful place and I will be eternally grateful for the care and support they provided to my mum and my family in her final months.
