Story

Hey 👋

Thanks for stopping by to check out my GoFundMe page! I'm Beth and I will be taking part in The Sandals Foundation Island Run 2023. This incredible cause brings runners together to plod around the whole island of Antigua within just 4 days amounting to a total distance of 100KM - To put it bluntly, we will each be running just over a half marathon every single day!

The Sandals Foundation Island Run - Antigua 2023 aims to raise money for the SickKids Caribbean Initiative (SCI) and the Paediatric Unit of Mount St. John's Medical Centre to help improve children's health across the across the Caribbean. A lack of access to the right medical equipment and resources can significantly affect a country's ability to provide the proper medical attention to its children. That's why this years event, The Sandals Foundation Island Run - Antigua 2023, will benefit the SickKids Caribbean Initiative (SCI) and the Paediatric Unit of Mount St. John's Medical Centre, both long-time Sandals Foundation beneficiaries.

If you have followed my journey of On The Run in 2023, you will know I started the year with the goal of running 1 half marathon - If only 2022 Beth could see this goal now!

Thank you for supporting such an incredible charity and cause. I will be posting updates of training on my social media platforms to keep me accountable so follow along if you are interested in the journey:
