Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
When I first had the idea for the Better for Etta kindness campaign back in February 2020, the world was a different place. I thought that there would be so many kind acts that I could do in order to celebrate Etta's life. However, like many others, 2020 didn’t look like we expected for so many reasons. But I promised that I would make the world better for Etta so we began the first Better for Etta Kindness campaign in 2020 and have completed it annually since! We have also done lots of other bits and bobs along the way to support the sick children of South West England and Wales and their families at Bristol Children’s Hospital.
More on the kindness campaign (26th November- 23rd December):
Etta died but it's also important to remember that she lived. We are planning on doing an act of kindness for every day that Etta was alive and I would love for you to join me! If you would like to keep things simple, then you can simply donate to this page and your kind act will be complete! All donations will be going towards the Bristol Children's Hospital- in particular, the intensive care unit, where Etta spent most of her life undergoing surgery and where she passed away in our arms. It will also go towards funds for the family emergency accommodation which we were allowed to stay in free of charge. This was a lifeline for us so we could be close to Etta in her short and precious life.
I would also love it if you could share any other kind acts that you complete in Etta's name- whether they be big or small. The run-up to Christmas is the perfect time to spread a little light at the end of a dark year for all of us.
I will be sharing my kind acts over on the Better for Etta Instagram and Facebook pages as well as on my website www.betterforetta.com and I will be sharing your kind acts there too. Send me a message/email or tag betterforetta on Instagram or Facebook.
We can’t wait to raise awareness, funds and smiles with you.
