Paul Jennings, George Panayioutoi and myself, all staff from Castleford Academy, are running the Leeds half marathon for the charity Motor Neurone Disease.  A disease very close to my heart after losing my Dad Ian Betteridge to the illness at the end of last year.

Motor Neurone Disease association provides funds for care and equipment for people with the disease which unfortunately at this present time has no known cause or concern.

This cruel disease needs beating and with great support from friends and family, I am determined to carry on the battle against it in memory of my brilliant Dad.
