The world has changed over the past year, but the need for Blue Cross hasnt. Like many charities, Blue Cross has seen a dramatic fall in fundraising income as a result of the coronavirus pandemic, but not once have Blue Cross turned away pets in the greatest need. Blue Cross has been there delivering vital services such as rehoming, veterinary, education, behaviour and pet bereavement support throughout to those in need.

As many of you know, I do have a bit of a weak spot for animals. Despite that I had not planned running a half marathon within the next few years yet (and have never run that far), I am more than happy to do it for a good cause since this is not about me or running a personal best, this is simply running the distance for the ones that need it most, our friends that love us unconditionally.
