St Peter's Hospice annual bike ride, Tour de Bristol takes place on Saturday 6th April 2019. Cyclists choose 40K, 65K or 100K routes taking in beautiful surrounds of South Gloucestershire and the Wye Valley while helping raise vital funds for SPH.

Story

My friend Andy Dodd sadly lost his battle with pancreatic cancer last year. The team from St Peter's provided Andy and his family with practical and emotional support both as an inpatient and when at home.Their help and support was invaluable to Andy and his loving family. The least I can do is show my appreciation by taking part in the Tour de Bristol and raising some much needed money. I am cycling with a group of Andy's friends remembering Andy and his love of cycling.

St Peter's Hospice is Bristol's ONLY adult hospice caring for local people with life-limiting illnesses. Our commitment is to improve the quality of life of patients while extending care and support to their families and loved ones. All of our care is provided free of charge, but it costs us around £20,000 a day to provide that care. For most of this money we rely on Gifts in Wills, donations, fundraising and our shops.
