I have decided to take part in the Reading Half Marathon on Sunday 29th March to raise funds for Home-Start, a wonderful charity which recruits volunteers to offer support to families with young children.  Volunteers visit families at home offering practical and emotional support.  My mum (Kay) is the Chief Executive of Home-Start UK, so I know about the invaluable service it offers.  The money I raise will help Home-Start to support even more families throughout the UK.  I am now well into my training, a slight problem with a sore calf (muscle) but it is well strapped and not giving me too much pain.  I am featured on the Home-Start web page (www.home-start.org.uk) so all I need now is your sponsorship and support.
