Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page. A friend of ours, Ben, managed to talk 9 other suckers (Pete, Helen, Karen, Emma, Joe, Charlie, Rose, Darren & Adam) into joining him in this challenge! Most of us have not undertaken anything like this before and some rarely exceed 5,000 steps a day. So we have a huge personal challenge ahead and are excited to face this and support each other to raise vital funds for Bexley Snap.
Snap are a small charity committed to offering flexible, appropriate, meaningful and fun opportunities for disabled children and young people living in and around the London Borough of Bexley. They work hard to build relationships with their members, actively seeking their input for the co-production of support. Clubs, activities and trips out are enjoyed by all whilst families receive a short break, safe in the knowledge their sons and daughters are being well cared for.
Please help us to raise funds to continue running our 4 youth clubs for members aged 11 to 25 years - giving disabled young people the access and safe space to make friends, learn social and independent living skills, go to the local bowling alley, trampoline park or even the pub as their non disabled peers might take for granted.
