Bike Challenge with Vodafone · 16 October 2013

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

It's been 7 years since my dad passed away having suffered from Alzheimer's and though I would do something in memory of this, so this year I will be cycling from Newburry to Bracknell with Vodafone on the 16th October 2013.

If you use the JustTextGiving service, Vodafone will match your donation! Example: Text the following line To 70070 to donate £5

BAZM69    £5

Finished:

Completed the charity ride from Newbury to Bracknell. Not saddled up for 3 months this was going to be a challenge. Added to this I couldn't find my pump and hoped I didn't get a flatty. Sods law having never had a flat on any of my ride before today I had 3, and the weather didn't help being wet and windy. Thanks to Andy and Les to stop with me and lend me there pumps or I would be still on the road. And finally a big thanks to all that had sponsored me (and still can do)
