BHBNradio Christmas Card 2021 · 22 November 2021

BHBN provides a dedicated 24/7 broadcasting service to patients and medical staff in NHS hospitals across Birmingham, UK. The station was founded in 1952 by Hon. Alderman Mrs Freda Cocks OBE. BHBN plays a variety of regular patient request, music and speciality shows, as well as providing sports commentaries from Aston Villa, Birmingham City and West Bromwich Albion home football matches and Warwickshire County Cricket Club home cricket fixtures from Edgbaston. Listening to us is free to those with a bedside TV/radio unit; if you need any help with tuning in, let us know or ask your nurse. BHBN Hospital Radio is now available ON LINE via the LISTEN LIVE link on www.bhbn.net or via the TUNE IN RADIO APP for your fone or mobile device, then search for BHBN. Friends and Family can now share the experience of requests & dedications with hospital patients. We are always on the lookout for new presenting talent and volunteers. If you think that's you then head over to our website for more info.

As you may imagine being in hospital can be a lonely, daunting and scary place, so to be able to have hospital radio for the patients is absolutely vital to bring a smile to a patients face often at a difficult time when in hospital.

Many people don't realise that BHBN radio who have been broadcasting to patients in Birmingham's Hospitals for over 65 years are a registered charity, do not receive any funding and are solely reliant on their own fundraising to keep the station on air, it costs circa  £3,000+ each and every year to run a hospital radio station.

For just £4 including postage you get x 5 bespoke Christmas cards (with envelopes) which have been created by Zichen, who is a year 5 pupil at Hallfield School.

Thank you for your Support!
