Right now, everyone is focused on protecting our health and that of loved ones from Corona Virus. This is absolutely our priority. However, as a charity supporting vital medical research into diabetes, it is important that we don't lose sight of the longer-term need for continuation of our work to treat, manage and cure diabetes, which is widely considered to be one of the 21st centuries most challenging health issues. There is no doubt that research into many chronic and life-threatening diseases will be paused for an unknown period of time, due to the frantic global efforts to deal with Corona Virus right now. One thing is for sure, when we're through this immediate danger, diabetes will still be there, an ongoing threat to the health and lives of millions. With this in mind, we are encouraging our supporters, friends and families to donate what they have saved, by not travelling to work, to Diabetes Research & Wellness Foundation.
