BHMT fundraiser as part of Cotswold 113 Event June 6th Middle Distance Triathlon

Story

Hi guys,

In June, myself and many others are competing in the Cotswolds Ironman 70.3 for the Beer Harris Memorial Trust.

BHMT was set up in memory of two people that I never had the pleasure of meeting, however my very good friend Henry Eyre speaks of them incredibly highly. Since signing up for this event I have heard many hilarious and brilliant stories about Joe Harris, and he sounded like a person anybody would be lucky to meet. I look forward to hearing many more stories in the future and meeting his friends at the event.

The reason we are all doing an Ironman is because Joe was a triathlete (and a bloody good one at that), and it seems only fitting that we are all put through our paces. I am sure he will be giving us all a well-needed push on the day.

BHMT itself uses the money raised to support mental health and recovery by making grants to community-based or research projects. This is something I believe everybody can relate to and needs to be supported.  Mental health has played a massive part in my life and BHMT is a trust that I believe are spending the donations in the right way and are helping make excellent progress in the area.

I would be extremely grateful if you could show your support and donate anything you can for these fantastic people and amazing charity.

Thank you,

Fin
