The Ladywood Project needs YOU!
We need your help with our pledge to the Ladywood Project!
The project are putting together packs of items to send out to the community, as part of their Holiday Hunger scheme.
The Ladywood Project know that parents struggle to feed their children during the summer, Easter and Christmas school break. During term time many children have free school meals. Parents not only have extra food costs during the summer months but also extra fuel costs. So, the Project runs a Holiday Hunger scheme, working with the local Foodbanks to donate food packs for local families.
This year, due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic and government advice, they are looking to include books, puzzles and essential items such as face masks and sanitisers in their packs to help the families who otherwise might not be able to afford them.
We have given ourselves the challenge of pledging to fundraise £200 for them to purchase a minimum of 80 hand sanitisers to include in the packs, alongside 80 handmade facemasks. Any contribution counts so please give what you can!
