We will do whatever it takes to help you live life as fully as you can

Story

As we all know cancer can affect us all in one way or another, whether that is through our families or friends. So this year at Ballyclare High School, we have decided we will do something explicitly to generate some funds for charities that have directly helped several of our colleagues and pupils to cope with cancer over the past 3 or 4 years.

We have an amazing opportunity to play our part in raising awareness and showing our support for two fabulous charities, MacMillan Cancer and the Oddballs Foundation. 30 of our staff, including 2 cancer survivors have committed to run the marathon relay on May Day Monday and enter into the spirit of teamwork within our school community.

Both of these charities do an incredible job across the UK and fundraising is hugely important to them. Without people doing events, running marathons, climbing mountains, and donating in all the other ways they can, they couldn’t do the invaluable work they do.

You can support us supporting MacMillan Cancer (through this Just Giving website) and the Oddballs Foundation (through cash donation).

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page. Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe; JustGiving will never sell them on or send you unwanted emails. Best of all, they'll send your money directly to the charity.
