I love animals and running so on Sunday 2 October, I’m running the London Marathon, a 26.2 mile challenge to raise £2,000 for our lovely animals. 

Blue Cross are a leading animal welfare charity who help thousands of pets in need every month providing veterinary care, expert behaviour help and finding them loving forever homes!

I took up running during the first lockdown and set myself a goal to complete a half marathon, which I finished in October last year. I’ve continued to run regularly, but never attempted to run near 42km before and so this is going to be a HUGE challenge for me.  

Our pets mean so much to us and that’s why I’ll be running the marathon for them, also a great opportunity for me to tick something off my bucket list – run a marathon before I turn 30!.
