Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

A little bit about myself. I am from New Zealand and married to Tony Nicholson and have 2 children Matthew 6 and Holly 4. We currently live in Majorca.

Tony's late dad was from Newcastle upon Tyne and in early 1970's emigrated to NZ with his young family.Tony was born in New Zealand. 

We have never had the opportunity of meeting all of our family in the North East, and this for me is a great opportunity. I took up running 2 years ago and have completed the Midnight Sun Marathon in 2009 and the Barcelona Marathon in 2010. The Great North Run is an excellent way for me to raise money for a charity in Tony's dad's home-town. 

The Down's Syndrome North East charity has helped my cousin Julie and her small son Matthew with lots of support and friendship. Any help you can provide to sponsor me, no matter how small, would be greatly appreciated.

Tony, my children and I are looking forward so much to coming to the North East of England.
