Our popular challenge, 10,000 Steps a Day in February, is back! This February, we’re inviting you to move for a mission: helping us accelerate the search for a cure for all types of brain tumours.

Story

On 18th January 2026 I lost my dad to stage 4 Glioblastoma - an aggressive and devastating form of brain cancer.

That’s why I’m taking on the 10,000 steps a day challenge to walk for dad, to remember him and to help bring hope to others facing this cruel disease.

Brain tumor research receives just around 1% of the national cancer research funding - despite brain cancer being the largest cause of cancer deaths in children and adults. More funding could transform lives and lead to better outcomes for families like ours.

Any donation big or small would be greatly appreciated. I know this isn’t running the London Marathon but it is a start in my fund-raising journey. Thank you for your support and for helping to fund research that brings hope to families fighting brain tumours.
