Story

A Miracle in China

Hundreds of people are overflowing from a large building that looks like an old factory. Most are holding Bibles, listening intently to a sermon being broadcast through the building. This is the second Sunday service at Hefei City Church and the enthusiasm spills into the church bookstore which is frantic after the service with people buying Bibles. Many of the Bibles are opened and read immediately.

These Bibles were printed at the Amity Press in Nanjing, like all Bibles distributed in China through officially recognised churches. First opening in 1987, Amity Press moved last May to a massive new site with an increased printing capacity of 12 million Bibles per year. God paved the way for the Amity press to work in partnership with the United Bible Societies, securing Government support for the printing of full Bibles in these vast quantities. Praise God that nothing is impossible for Him.

Paper for God’s Word

Bible Societies ensure that Scripture printed in Amity Press is affordable for all by covering the costs of the paper. We are thankful for our opportunity to be part of this ministry and would love you to join with us in whatever way you can.

- Paper for one Bible costs just 75p, so every £15 will provide paper for 20 Bibles – would you like to help?

- Pray that this opportunity to provide Scripture will continue unhindered. Pray too that God will continue to pour out His Spirit on individuals, families and communities throughout China.

Please help us make the Bible available today.

Thank you.
