Jackie Oatway is raising money for Trussell

Biddenden Squash Club 24 hour squashathon · 15 October 2022

We’re an anti-poverty charity & community of food banks, working together to ensure no one in the UK needs a food bank, while providing practical support for people left without enough money. (Please note we're unable to forward funds onto individual food banks, funds raised here go to Trussell)

Story

Biddenden Squash Club is running a 24 hour Squashathon for World Squash Day to raise money for the Trussell Trust. Four of the club’s juniors - Alfie, Earle, Ned and Rachel - have organised the event with their coach and Director of Squash, Tom Swain with lots of fabulous club members signing up to take part. The event really will be a whole club effort.

The squashathon runs from 6pm on Friday 14th to 6pm on Saturday 15th October and includes a doubles tournament (superbly organised by Charlie with help from Katy), a juniors team tournament, training sessions, racket tots and an all night pyjama party with people always on court and lots of fun at a wonderfully inclusive club.

The club has chosen to support The Trussell Trust because they want to help provide emergency food for those struggling right now

The Trussell Trust supports a nationwide network of food banks that together provide emergency food and support to people locked in poverty,  They campaign for change to end the need for food banks in the UK.

If you’d like to support this brilliant fund raising event and help this wonderful charity support people who need help, please make a small donation if you’re able to.
