I'm taking part in the Big Blue Bike Ride this September to raise money and help beat prostate cancer. 1

In my lab we study how prostate cancer spreads - we're able to do this because of support from Prostate Cancer UK. 1 in 8 men are affected by prostate cancer in the UK. We really want to make a difference and continue to understand this cancer so we can find better treatments. I'm doing the bike ride because I know that every penny I spend in the lab comes from fundraisers who give their time and effort. Being part of this really spurs me on to keep working hard in the lab, meeting supporters and people facing cancer who keep going, no matter what, helps me to do the same.
