Story

I'm taking part in Prostate Cancer UK’s Big Blue Bike Ride on Sunday 8 September 2024 to raise vital funds and awareness of prostate cancer.

This is quite personal for me having being diagnosed with stage 3 prostate cancer last year. I'm currently on a curative treatment and so far I seem to be responding well to it. I was completely symptom free when diagnosed and found out by a fortunate accident really.

The reason I'm telling you all this is not for sympathy but simple because I want your money to help fund research into cures and to develop a screening program to end the below:

1 in 8 men will suffer from this.

27 men are told everyday in England that they have incurable prostate cancer.

Every 45 minutes 1 man dies of prostate cancer in England.
