We deliver outstanding care to children and families

Story

On 13th May I will begin an eleven day bicycle ride across the spiritual home of cycling - France. Riding nearly 100 miles each day the route covers 1030 miles from the English Channel to the Mediterranean Sea, with 60,000 feet of climbing along the way. The journey begins on the North coast of France in the fortified town of Saint Malo on the rocky coastline of Brittany and takes myself and 8 team mates through 19 of Frances regional departements before finishing in Nice by the sparkling blue sea of the Côte d’Azur.

I will be riding to raise funds for the fabulous local charity - the Forget Me Not childrens hospice in Huddersfield. Forget Me Not delivers outstanding care to children with life shortening conditions and their families. Their care is 24/7, delivered not only in the hospice building but also in families’ own homes. Their mission is simple – we are here to say yes to children and families.

Any sponsorship or support you feel able to give would be hugely appreciated by myself and the incredible team at Russell House who work tirelessly for this great cause.

This will be a gruelling challenge for me but is nothing compared to the challenge faced by the families and children who are supported by Forget Me Not.

Thank you.
