Sistema Scotland is on a mission to transform lives through music. Their Big Noise orchestra programmes give children valuable life skills, boost their aspirations and support them to develop into confident, resilient adults. Sistema Scotland base their Big Noise programmes in communities in Scotland where their work has the most impact. Currently, Big Noise reaches over 2,500 children in the communities of Raploch in Stirling, Govanhill in Glasgow, Torry in Aberdeen and Douglas in Dundee.

#TheBigRunaround started with a series of races in the four Scottish cities where we currently have a Big Noise centre, but that has now extended further and people are joining the team and challenge by running any distance/any location!

The original key dates of our runs were as follows but anyone can now take part by running whenever and wherever they like in order to support the work of Sistema Scotland and Big Noise:

• Dundee 5k - Broughty Ferry, July 8th 2018
• Aberdeen 10k - August 26th 2018
• Glasgow Half Marathon - September 30th 2018
• Stirling Marathon/ Half Marathon - April 28th 2019
