We are a small group of Beatson staff (and friends) and last year, to mark the opening of the new Lanarkshire Beatson, we took part in a long distance open water swim on Loch Ard, to Raise money for the Beatson Cancer Charity, swimming 22 km between us (the distance between the Beatson West of Scotland Cancer centre in Glasgow and the new Lanarkshire Beatson).

This year, we are going a step further, and on the 25th of August, we are attempting to swim the length of Loch Lomond (a whopping 39 km!) in relay.

Working at the Beatson and very closely with patients undergoing treatment for a wide variety of types of cancer, allows us to see the marvellous of work of the Beatson Cancer Charity and the difference it makes to patients and their families every day. We are very grateful for any donations received, and can honestly say they really do make a difference. Thank you for taking the time to visit our page.
