The Big Chari-Tree Climb · 11 June 2017

Keeping children active during cancer treatment is key to their mental wellbeing and at Supershoes we personalise footwear to help get kids on their feet to boost wellbeing, restore a sense of self and remind them of the things they love. This isn't about cancer this is about Super Kids!

Story

Nearly 50 children, many only aged 6 and 7 and adults will be climbing  one of the biggest trees (no damage is caused) in Stowe Landscape Gardens to help raise funds for Supershoes, a local charity that helps to empower children & young people fighting cancer. Staffed entirely by volunteers Supershoes create & gift hand painted Converse shoes for each individual child, reflecting their interests and likes. Supershoes brighten a child's day and helps them to feel super special.

Climbing the tree and then taking the zip wire back down to the ground won't be easy, but we're up for the challenge!  It will make the hard work even more worthwhile if you can donate a few pennies to spur us on!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
