Story
Dear Supporter
Thanks for visiting this page which contains important stuff we need you to know about the Big Fun Walk. So whether you're an old hand or a newbie, please take just a few minutes to read this all the way through before you sign up to Just Giving and register for the Walk.
This page is for information only so please don't use the 'Donate Now' links on the page!
Instructions on how to set up your own fundraising page on Just Giving are shown below, but please do read the bits in between before you skip down, or you may miss something you might later wish you knew.
The Big Fun Walk is an annual 7½ mile sponsored event from to , passing through 's parks in Springtime. Advance registration is required - no fee! The route is suitable for all ages and abilities and food, drink and entertainment are provided at no cost to walkers. Information, FAQs, photos and comments from previous Walks are on our website www.bigfunwalk.co.uk.
Important: The BFW is an independent event organised by community-based volunteer fundraisers of the North West Support Group to raise funds to support the North London Hospice, and as such is not administered by or from the North London Hospice itself. enquiries should be made to the dedicated Big Fun Walk line on 020 8202 5586 or please visit our website at www.bigfunwalk.co.uk or email us on bigfunwalk@netscape.net. We always respond as quickly as we can so please leave us a nice clear message including your name and phone number. You'd be surprised how many people forget to say who they are or how we can get in touch.
Advance registration is required for every walker, even if you intend to raise sponsorship via Just Giving, so please visit www.bigfunwalk.co.uk to sign up online, or phone 020 8202 5586 to register by phone-and-post. There is no charge, but we ask every adult walker to raise at least £30 in sponsorship or donations, and we ask 17-and-unders to make their best efforts. Please be sure to read the FAQs on our website before you sign up: this should answer any questions and will help us with the admin of the Big Fun Walk.
Donating through Just Giving is simple, fast and totally secure. The North London Hospice will receive your sponsors' money quickly and, if the giver is a taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to their gift at no additional cost to them.
As we said above, this page is for information only so please do not use the 'Donate Now' links on this page! If you are a donor or would like to sponsor a walker please contact us directly on the phone number or email address above.
