Mary Stevens Hospice provides specialist holistic care free of charge for adults with life-limiting illnesses and their families in the Dudley Borough. More than 80% of the £3.5m annual costs are paid for by donations and funds raised by supporters from a compassionate, local community.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

I did the Aberdovey bike ride last year and struggled.  This year, they've made it harder, they've added an extra day and more hills.

Day 1 is 79 miles and 6588 feet of climbing

Day 2 is 118 miles and 10366 feet of climbing (This is going to hurt!)

Day 3 is 99 miles and 6197 feet of climbing

Day 4 is 105 miles and 4883 feet of climbing

This is why I've called my page "big hills sore bum"

Because of my job, I've been fortunate to work with some of the staff at Mary Stevens Hospice and to see first hand the care and the work they do, not just for their patients but the friends and families of that person. It really is a special place.
