'Ello!
Thanks for taking the time to visit our Justgiving page.
Exeter YMCA is a brilliant local charity providing housing, training, counselling and support to people aged between 16 and 29 in the Exeter area who'd otherwise be homeless or living in dangerous situations. You can find out all about them at http://www.exeterymca.org.uk/.
On 3rd Dec 2011, YMCA is holding a sponsored abseil down the side of Exeter's shiny new 90ft Princesshay car park. In a genuine but very happy coincidence, Nathan and Fran are getting married just down the road, at Belmont chapel, that very afternoon. SO. Nathan and his intrepid* groomsmen are taking part in the abseil, possibly in some kind of wedding finery (whether it's their own or not is up for debate).
(*Nathan himself feels a little trepid, to be honest, as he hasn't abseiled since he was thirteen and distinctly remembers being a big girl's blouse about it at the time.)
So yeah. Sponsor us, please! We reckon we can raise loads of wonga for this fantastic, independently funded local charity, so help us get there!
Ooh, also, if you're a UK taxpayer, PLEEEEASE don't forget to tick the Gift Aid box and get George Osbourne to stick an extra 20% on it. Thank you!
Biglove,
Nathan, Rich, Dave, Mark and John.
