The survival of your favourite animals here and in the wild depends on the survival of your zoo...

Story

Hello my name is Alistair and I am very passionate about animals and I want to work with animals when I am older. I was sad when I heard about the Pandas at Edinburgh Zoo the matter they may need to return to China due to the pandemic.

The reason I want to help save pandas is because they are vunerable to extinction so if we don't do it now it will be too late so the more support sooner, the less likely they will go extinct.

Tian Tian was born on 24 August 2003, and Yuang Guang was born 10 days earlier on 14 August 2003. They both have  identical but different enclosures indoor and outdoor. The reason they have different enclosures is to replicate what happens in the wild.

My Challenge

I am going to cycle 100 miles to raise money for the Giant Pandas
(Tian Tian translated to sweetie and Yang Guang translated to Sunshine) at Edinburgh Zoo.

The reason it is 100 miles I will cycle, is because Yang Guang eats 100 killograms of food every single day. I will cycle one mile for each kilogram of food that Yang Guang eats.

I am going to do my challenge during March and will record my cycles. It would be a big help to the pandas if you can sponsor this challenge.

You can follow my progress on Strava.
