Story

Please join us in honoring the giving spirit and legacy of a man who was so much to so many people.

Bill Nordmark III was a dear friend to many people and lived his life sharing his vision that one person could change the world.  His 69 years on this earth were filled with challenges and triumphs that inspired others to make a meaningful difference.  Stricken with polio at age 2, Bill not only overcame but thrived to become a four-year letterman on the Georgia State University Basketball team.  After his time at GSU, Bill became a prominent leader within the Atlanta business community as a healthcare executive and later as a consultant.

Bill was a devoted family man who had a passion for seeing the good in others.  As a longtime leader of the Rotary Club of Atlanta and co-founder of the Atlanta Friendship Initiative with John Grant, Bill's legacy will live through the many lives he touched and inspired for good.

Two of the lives for which Bill made a significant impact are current board members and volunteers for Haiti Outreach.  Bill introduced Saurel Quettan and Mark Bryan in 2014 and what followed was a friendship that will last a lifetime with a mission to carry on Bill's legacy of helping others.

To honor Bill and the Nordmark family, we are kicking off an effort to fund five (5) wells, and leadership training in Bill's honor.  These wells will literally change the lives of 1,250+ men, women and children in rural Haiti by providing access to clean water and sanitation for a lifetime.
