I was diagnosed with ATTR in 2017 and at the time although there was hope that Patisiran would be successful there was no certainty. I was fortunate to get onto an expanded access treatment in Sept 2018. At my last checkup there was some evidence of improvement in my condition for which I was incredibly happy.
