Brighton Marathon 2023 · 2 April 2023 ·
Every year, one in four of us will experience a mental health problem. But hundreds of thousands of people are still struggling.Mind believe no one should have to face a mental health problem alone. They'll listen, give you support and advice, and fight your corner.
I have chosen this charity as I know several people who have unfortunately found it too much and ended their life’s prematurely.
It’s sad that they get to a stage where they think no one is around for them. If only they knew that there is channels, this is friends, family and charity’s, that can help.
I am trying to raise money for this great charity, who have really had to be there in last decade as mental health becomes more prominent, due to life’s dealings, wars, covid, social networking etc.
This is my last marathon (hopefully), I have a personal aim as well as an aim to raise as much money for the charity.
My personal aim is a sub 4 hour marathon, but the cushion for me if I don’t is the fact I am raising money for a great cause. I am running with a friend who is on a back to back Brighton marathon, so hats off to him!
Please help where you can, anything will help, it doesn’t matter if it’s a pound or £50, every little helps achieving the main goal.
Thank you
