This October, I'm running up for the Royal Parks Half Marathon in support of the Galilee Foundation.

Since it was formed, the Foundation has helped many Palestinian students access higher education, supporting around 250 students a year with scholarships and academic support. Coming from a family of educators this is something I care about deeply.

Their mission statement says they believe in the ‘power of education, empowerment, and opportunity to help build a stronger, more hopeful future for young Palestinians.’ So do I. So please donate something.

Part of this war on Palestinians in Gaza, the West Bank and Palestinians living in Israel, is cultural and starving an entire generation of children of their access to education by destroying every university and making schooling untenable through settler attacks on buildings and communities, road closures and lack of funds for online learning due to rises in unemployment and stable income - the list goes on- means rebuilding anything across Palestine could take many decades and whole generations will suffer through lack of access to education
