My sister passed away recently after suffering from an intestinal cancer.  She lived in a city in Gujarat where hospice facilities are expensive and almost unavailable.   The lack of care, concern and indifference towards people at their most vulnerable has had an indelible impression on me.   

St Luke's hospice is what I would have cherished for my sister.  Now I fully understand and appreciate what these amazing people are doing.  It's all voluntary.  The kindness, friendship and care towards people at the last days of their life...It's beyond words.  

I'm taking part in the Jail and Bail event this year to raise funds for St Luke's.
