We care for children & young people with life-threatening conditions across Cambs, Essex, Norfolk & Suffolk and support their families. This can be at home, in hospital or at one of three hospices at Milton, The Treehouse and The Nook. We rely on voluntary donations for the majority of our income.

Story

Birketts has announced East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH)
will be the firm-wide chosen charity for 2021 and the Cambridge office is committed to raising as much as possible to support this wonderful organisation.

EACH offers care and support to hundreds of children and young
people with life-threatening conditions in East Anglia, as well as their
families. Its service includes wellbeing activities, therapies, counselling, symptom management and short breaks for families from round-the-clock care.

Birketts is committed to raising the £35,100 annual salary of a
Clinical Nurse Specialist through its fundraising efforts in 2021. EACH
currently has 11 of these vital nurses working across the region, working closely with families to provide support for their children and to develop individual symptom management plans. However, as demand for their services increases, the need for support from corporate partners and individual donations grows.

After a year dominated by the COVID-19 pandemic, EACH needs more support than ever before. Thank you for supporting our efforts and thank you for donating to a team supporting families through some of the most challenging times of their lives.
