Story

Last minute entry to Birmingham Half Marathon following an utter reluctance for my body to cooperate post COVID19. I will run it in my Birmingham Bulls American Football kit if that will help persuade you to part with a few quid. In fact, it's my birthday in May. Save the money you would have spent on a card and lavish prezzie and donate it here instead please.

Every penny we can raise gives a kid battling a brain tumour a better chance of survival. Brain tumours are the biggest cancer killer of the under 40's!!

At Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity, we believe there’s always more we can do for our sick kids and that’s why we will always strive to do more for our patients and families. It’s our mission to raise the vital funds needed to make a real difference to all who use our hospital.Your support empowers us to take innovative approaches to treating some of the sickest children in the UK. Your fundraising enables us to make our hospital feel just like home. Your donations are helping us to find new ways to treat and cure childhood diseases.

About the charity

It's bewildering and unsettling for anyone going into hospital but especially for children and that is why we are a fundraising hospital. We raise funds to enhance the experience of our patients by providing state of the art medical equipment and facilities and creating a child-friendly environment.
