Dementia is the UKs biggest killer. Someone develops it every three minutes and currently there is no cure.

I am walking for my aunt who I spent a lot of time with growing up and for everyone else who has suffered or is currently suffering.

She has had dementia for about 8 years now and has deteriorated to the point where she is now in a care home unable to walk, talk, care for herself or recognise anybody.

If she could see herself the way she is now it would break her heart as it does her daughter, husband, me and my family to see her this way.
