BIRMINGHAM THYAGARAJA FESTIVAL

BIRMINGHAM THYAGARAJA FESTIVAL · 1 May 2021
Birmingham Thyagaraja Festival is a popular annual festival of Indian classical music and dance in the Midlands, to celebrate and to pay a musical tribute the life of the Singing Saint and Poet Thyagaraja. The festival, in its 7th year is organised by ShruthiUK, in partnership with the Consul General of India in Birmingham, West Midlands Combined Authority and a host of premier partners from across the Midlands and elsewhere.
The festival supports a charity every year and helps raise funds through donations and gift aids. This year's chosen charity is Ronald McDonald House Charities UK.
Our objective is to help raise funds and create more awareness about the wonderful work by the charity and to bring hope and relief for children and their parents, in particular.
