Imperial Health Charity helps their hospitals do more through grants, arts, volunteering and fundraising. They fund major redevelopments, research and medical equipment as well as helping patients and their families at times of extreme financial difficulty.

Story

Thank you for visiting the Birth Centre page. In a matched partnership with the NHS we raised the £1.4m needed to convert an old ward in St Mary’s Hospital into a midwife-led Birth Centre. This beautiful centre has five double bedrooms with en suite facilities and, of course, the one-to-one midwife care that every woman needs for support before, during and after giving birth.

There were around 800 births here last year.  We need to maintain the centre to the hotel standard we set ourselves and so we continue to ask for donations.  These will pay for replacing older equipment and keep the fixtures and furnishings in pristine condition.

If you or someone you know was pleased with the care at the Birth Centre, would you please make a donation as a way of saying thank you.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support  Imperial College Healthcare Charity - St Mary's Birth Centre.  We shall receive your money faster and, if you are a taxpayer, an extra 25% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Many thanks for your support.
