Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In July, if recovery from the pandemic allows, we are looking to walk 194 kilometres in 3 days in support of the Foundation. Having been inspired by Stephen's positive outlook and drive in the face of his MND battle, we want to do our but to help the Foundation. We will walk from Huddersfield Town to Liverpool, calling at over 20 sports stadia in between. This will be done over 3 days with in excess of 60km being walked each day.

The 194 is a reference to Stephen's career at Bradford City. He played exactly 194 league matches for the Bantams.

Any support that you can give is hugely appreciated. We are looking to get hold of some signed football shirts and every donation of £10 or more will get the person pledging the money a ticket in our grand draw. Please ensure that when making your donation, you tick the box to allow us to contact you in case you have won a shirt. These shirts include signed matchworn shirts from the Bradford v Liverpool fundraising friendly worn by Joe Gomez & Ryan Kent, a Lancashire shirt signed by Liam Livingstone and a signed Chesterfield shirt.

Regards

Andy, Harry and Scott

About the charity

Stephen and Chris both have Motor Neurone Disease and have created a Foundation to create awareness of MND, to fund and assist research into the illness with the quest of finding a cure for the illness, to raise funds and offer grants to those with MND, as well as creating a network to help provide information and emotional support network for those diagnosed with the disease.
