Story
Hey there everyone, we're Black Market Stereo, A DJ duo based in Leeds. We've all seen what a scary time it is for people all around the world due to Covid-19, most especially those key workers who are working in our hospitals, care homes & other essential services.
It's easy to feel a little powerless right now, so we thought we'd do something to contribute to the massive effort so many are making on behalf of others right now! Not to mention providing some quality entertainment for all of us stuck at home!
Introducing "The 48 HOUR DJ Live Stream"
We will be playing back to back, non-stop, in our living room, for 48 hours. We'll be streaming primarily onto twitch, as well as restreaming to facebook live from 16:00 15th May to 16:00 17th May. You can drop in at any time to hear some great tunes or just to laugh at us trying to keep our eyes open.
We are also doing a massive appeal for artists of any kind to submit original works of art for us to feature live during the stream, maybe you write your own music, perhaps you create a form of visual art or you write poetry, whatever it is we want it! We'll share your work live during the stream.

We'll be taking steps so that people can interact with the stream on zoom, whether to just dance about in their living room or give us a call and keep us company! We'll be on the mic for the whole duration so don't be shy, give us a call!
All money will go to NHS Charities Together via a JustGiving page we've setup, anything at all you can spare will go a long way!
NHS staff and volunteers are doing amazing work right now in caring for COVID-19 patients.Together, let's show our respect and gratitude as they work tirelessly in the face of the virus. It's our turn to make sure we look after them, to ensure they can keep doing their vital work.
