Wellington RF1465 Memorial Walk · 6 July 2014

The RAF Benevolent Fund is the RAF's leading welfare charity. We have been there for all members of the RAF Family for over 100 years. Last year we assisted more than 70,000 members of the RAF Family. Support us in 2025 and help us reach even more members of the RAF Family.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

The mountains of the United Kingdom hold many secrets of aircrew from around the world who have come to grief on high ground. This walk remembers Sgt D P Carruthers who crashed on a training flight on the 23 May 1942, raising awareness of sacrifices past and present, and raising funds for the RAF Benevolent Fund.

Please help if you can.
