Hever Castle Triathlon 2017 · 23 September 2017 to 24 September 2017 ·

We are the only UK lung cancer charity dedicated to helping everyone affected by the disease. We fund essential research and provide much needed support, information and advice. We raise awareness and challenge the misconceptions of lung cancer. We do all this so those affected can expect better.

Story

Thanks for visiting the BlackRock Cash teams' fundraising page in aid of the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation, in memory of our colleague Alisha Douglas, who passed away in February 2016 from a rare type of non-smoker's lung cancer.

Alisha was incredibly fit and active throughout her 29 years and we're keen to raise as much money as possible for the foundation to help fund the vital research they carry out, as well as raising awareness of the commonly overlooked symptoms of the UK's most fatal cancer. Persistent coughs, chest/back pains and breathlessness should not be overlooked, no matter how young or seemingly healthy someone may be.

We've now had a couple of events to fund raise for this cause, with the latest being a 5 a-side football tournament scheduled for 21st May at Crystal Palace.

Thanks!
