Story
One small step for mankind, one huge step for charity! Perdip Kaur Bhachu , Liam Parkinson , Lauren Grey , Rebecca Leeks , Alex Richardson and Emily Owston are the Blacks Daredevils! We are risking our lives in an Abseil to support St Gemma's Hospice. We are abseiling 300ft down the CLV building, the third highest building in Leeds and one of the tallest buildings in North England. Any donations are appreciated, no matter how small (or large!) and will help us feel a little less scared about stepping over the edge. St Gemma’s Hospice is a local, independent charity and has been providing expert care to the people of Leeds for over 40 years. We provide the best possible care and support for local people with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses. The work that they do is truly incredible! Perdip - "I will be taking on this challenge in loving memory of my Dad, Balbir Singh Bhachu who is my Superhero! I will also be taking on this challenge in loving memory of my Aunt, Tarsem Kaur Marwaha and Uncle, Manohar Singh Hunjan who were both cared for by St Gemma's Hospice." Lauren - "I will be taking on this challenge in loving memory of my Dad, Cliff Grey, who is probably laughing at the thought of me doing this." Location: The Abseil will take place at the CLV Building, Jacob Street, Leeds, LS2 8BR. Thank you for all the donations in advance and wish us the best of luck! See you at the bottom!
