I started fundraising for this cause with the Animal Health Trust but as you may be aware, their charity has sadly shut down. All proceeds that I have raised so far will go towards the Animal Cancer Trust which is for the same cause. Please get in touch if you have any queries. 

A few years ago, my doggy best friend was affected by cancer, and sadly as many pet owners know, this can be devastating - as it was for me and my family. This is what has given me the initial inner drive and desire to help out the Animal Cancer Trust who are working towards beginning their research into cancers that are found in our beloved dogs with the goal of preventing them or being able to manage and treat them better. Science and technology have come a long way but charities like the Animal Cancer Trust need our support in order to kickstart their project because it is our donations that keep them moving forward. 

We are a significant part of their journey and together, we can help to contribute towards saving another beloved animal's life. 

I have decided to part with something that I love, to help drum up support and awareness for this amazing charity. Shaving my hair off is to signify new beginnings which is something that we can help give to animals that are at risk of cancer or who are already suffering from it. I will be conducting my head shave on the 14th January 2021. 

Your funds will be placed in a separate account to go towards canine cancer research once the charity is able to start this project. Please feel free to check out their website to find out more information about them and how else you can help them along with their goals.
