Providence Row tackles the root causes of homelessness to help people get off, and stay off, the streets. We work with over 1800 homeless and vulnerably housed people a year in East London, offering an integrated service of crisis support, advice, recovery, learning and training programmes.

Story

On 7-9 September 2012, 13 Blick Rothenberg and BRAL employees will be taking part in the South Downs Way Challenge, a 100 mile walk from Winchester to Eastbourne. This challenge will involve a competition between two teams, each starting at either end of the South Downs Way and walking 50 miles over 2 days (camping overnight) to meet in the middle. The team to get to the meeting point first will be crowned the winners!

The teams are:

Starting in Eastbourne - Eastbourne Electrics: Emily Richards, Eleanor Whelan Bassett, Liam Chell, Paul Smith, Nicola Gondi, Danny Winser and Max Lewis.

Starting in Winchester - Vigor Mortis: Alex Worrall, Mike Scoltock, Linda Bute, David Thomas, Matt Brand and Philippa Pilkington.

This fundraising event is in support of the firm's charity of the year, Providence Row. Providence Row helps homeless and vulnerable people in London; many of the Blick Rothenberg and BRAL staff have been able to take part in volunteer days at the Dellow Centre where the charity is based, witnessing their fantastic work firsthand.

Further details about the charity can be found at: www.providencerow.co.uk

Please help us try to reach our fundraising target this year by donating generously to this worthy cause.

There will also be a sweepstake in the office for those who want to bet on the winners, with the proceeds also going to Providence Row

On behalf of Providence Row and everyone taking part, many thanks for your support.
