Tough Mudder London West 2023 · 6 May 2023 to 7 May 2023 ·
Hey there,
I hope you are well!
I was initially planning to run this 15k tough mudder event by myself, I had zero intention to round up a group of runners to maximize the money raised as I thought a) it was too much effort to manage and b) the invite would fall upon deaf ears. To my surprise, 39 people volunteered to join me in my efforts to raise money for charity and push themselves to new limits.
Brain tumours are one of those things that scare all of us, they are silent killers that just appear almost as if out of nowhere. Similarly to cancer, it is a horrifying serious problem that takes so many lives and leaves others incapacitated.
I truly believe in the possibility of a future where we have the technology to identify early signs of tumour development or have the means to safely eradicate tumours and increase chances of recovery near-or-to 100%.
Such efforts for humanity take considerable time and money.
But every penny will aid this endeavor and will directly result in speeding up the progression of brain tumour research. Meaning many millions of future lives saved, and hopefully, some lives saved today.
The Brain Tumour Charity is the world's leading brain tumour charity and the largest dedicated funder of research into brain tumours globally.
Let us change our perspective and set a new standard: We live in a society where we have been born into inhumane and environmentally-harmful global practices (albeit predominantly led by large greedy corporations). Yet, this attitude has corrupted many individuals who too, do not care for anything out of their scope of existence.
The sins of our fathers must to be eradicated by us: the new generation.
If we all left this earth better than when we entered it, the world would be a far more beautiful place.
Your donations are extremely appreciated.
Thank you,
G Bliss
